She is often on scene of the events she reports on and has a strong sense of journalistic integrity, believing that a media must always seek the truth and not simply relay official statements.[2] Light is her brother and their mother was the mentor of J in the Stasi,[3] who remains a friend of the family,[4] but Shadowless disapproves of her brother becoming a Stasi agent like their parents due to the dangers involved.[5] She didn't attend the funeral service of Light and the other dead agents from the Neu-Tempelhof Paradeus attack, choosing to visit alone later.
