Shadowless is a reporter of the DFF in Berlin, Germany, hosting the news broadcast Aktuelle Kamera.[1] She appears regularly in the broadcasts seen in Mirror Stage, Poincare Recurrence, Longitudinal Strain and Angular Gyrus. She is often on scene of the events she reports on and has a strong sense of journalistic integrity, believing that a media must always seek the truth and not simply relay official statements.[2] Light is her brother and their mother was the mentor of J in the Stasi,[3] who remains a friend of the family,[4] but Shadowless disapproves of her brother becoming a Stasi agent like their parents due to the dangers involved.[5] She didn't attend the funeral service of Light and the other dead agents from the Neu-Tempelhof Paradeus attack, choosing to visit alone later. She lamented not managing to convince her brother to quit before it was too late.[6]
In Slow Shock, data found on a Paradeus mainframe and likely extracted from the Bee Sting shows Shadowless nervously give a video report on successfully establishing a propaganda machine within the TV Station. She admits to manipulating public opinion and censoring information about the Galatea Corporation by covering up the assassination of a Dr. Alecia.[7] The Paradeus data gives Shadowless the codename Ráðgríðr (after one of the Valkyries of Norse mythology). Some information is removed from the footage, and neither the date, authenticity, nor details of the footage are sufficient to conclude her current loyalties.
