Plot

The Commander and William face off, their long pursuit and game of chess finally coming to an end, and the story of Girls' Frontline also draws to a close. As the Elmo sails further, the Commander's journey continues, and the song of the Dolls lives on in this treacherous world![1]
The story consists in a number of "bad ends" and "ends" along with the "true ending" of the game. In the second-to-last chapter, the player will briefly control the Commander in first person to aim at and shoot William.

- In quantum physics, quantum fluctuations are random and minute changes in the values of elementary particles caused by the annihilation of Virtual Pairs.
- The Live2D assets of the sequence where the player shoots William had been datamined in early 2024 during the brief timeframe when the game contained assets related to the unreleased chapter Blazar Backscatter.[2]
