Weapon Background

The B&T APC9K ('Kurz', meaning short) belongs to the Advanced Police Carbine series of weapons developed by Swiss manufacturer Brügger and Thomet . It is chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum and is a shortened variant of the standard APC9 submachine gun.

The APC9K fires from a closed bolt with a straight blowback gas system. It features a telescoping butt stock that is more compact than the folding stock found on the standard APC9. The rear of the gun houses a unique hydraulic buffer system, which reduces recoil and allows for more controllable one-handed fire . An ambidextrous, non-reciprocating charging handle with folding handles can be found towards the front of the gun. Similarly, the safety, magazine release and bolt release are all ambidextrous.

As of 2019, a small number of guns have been adopted by the United States Army and United States Air Force for use by security personnel. It has been compared favourably to the Heckler and Koch MP5k for its smooth shooting, ergonomics and modularity.

Official Character Description

A cheerful chatterbox of a girl who once worked with her big sister APC556 as bodyguards for a certain international superstar, with her job back then being to manage fans. She's a good fighter and can handle most tasks, but she still relies on her big sister out of habit. She embraces some strange little superstitions, such as how her magazines need to be of at least two different colors, because she believes that mono-colored magazines bring disaster.
