Record 1

Colphne was a support-type civilian Doll assigned to a government medical team. Responsible for emotional counselling and medical support, she served under the URNC's 11th Medical and Chemical Regiment. Stationed at the border between a Green Zone and a Yellow Zone, she provided emergency medical care to incoming personnel. Her unit was unexpectedly wiped out during a mission into a contamination zone, leaving her as the sole survivor.

Armed with professional medical knowledge, Colphne is skilled in both managing interpersonal relationships and caring for patients' emotional needs. A highly perceptive Doll, she knows well the unspoken rules that underlay society and understands social dynamics; in other words, she is adept at reading the room. Although a smile perpetually frames her face, behind that smile often hides complex feelings and thoughts, making her true intentions incredibly difficult to decipher.

After the loss of her medical team, Colphne spent some time wandering alone in the contamination zones. She was eventually found and repaired by Poludnitsa, and then boarded the Elmo to get a fire control core installed. She seemed to be harboring some kind of motive she was unwilling to disclose.

Record 2

Medical Doll Colphne wore a bright smile on the surface while hiding innumerable schemes underneath. Getting her hands on a fire control core was just the first step. The Elmo was filled with highly capable individuals who might be of use to her, depending on the situation.

This was why Colphne felt the need to curry favor with everyone aboard the Elmo. She thought that as long as she maintained a "Mona Lisa Smile", ingratiated everyone, and presented herself as a harmless Doll, she would be able to lower anyone's guard.

"Colphne, you don't have to speak to me like that."

"Aw~ Is there something wrong with my tone, Commander~?"

"There is no need to wear that fake smile on your face."

"A fake smile...? Ahaha, I'm a medical Doll, you know? I can't help but start smiling in front of patients~"

As usual, Colphne joked with the Commander while wearing her usual smile. But this time, she wasn't as calm as she seemed deep inside.

It wasn't impossible to encounter others who saw through her antics, yet she always felt more nervous whenever she faced the Commander. Because... this man seemed to be serious in his attempts to understand the real Colphne.

Colphne asked herself: "Should I place more trust in him?" Maybe he could help her more if she did?

She quickly dismissed this thought as Colphne remembered that tragic incident. It was precisely because of trust that her medical team ran into fatal betrayal. It was because of goodwill that they were attacked without warning.

People are unpredictable, so one must always keep something up one's sleeve. At least that was what Colphne thought. She wouldn't be able to confess the truth until she achieved her goal.

Record 3

Colphne slowly realized over time that everyone aboard the Elmo was wonderfully kind.

It goes without saying for the Commander who took her in, but her team leader, Mayling, and the other Dolls were also remarkably kind.

The only problem was that her companions weren't very good at expressing said kindness to others, and thus, Colphne, the ever-willing social lubricant, comes into play at these moments.

"Krolik sounded harsh, but that was because she was really worried about you, Nemesis."

Sometimes, she helped resolve conflicts like these within the team.

"I would be fuming with anger at this point if I were Mayling! You should treat her better, Commander!"

Sometimes, she helped Mayling convey her frustrations.

"I helped you sort out the mission report while you were away, Leader~"

Sometimes, she was Groza's assistant, and—

"Look, a shiny rock! Let's play over there so that we won't disturb the Commander at work!"

Sometimes, she was Helena's babysitter.

And just like that, days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. Before she knew it, Colphne had everyone's trust. She was hailed as "Colphne the Indispensable".

That made her really happy, but sometimes, the image of the person who was once alive, who had once trusted her too, would float back into her mind... the leader of her former medical team.

"The goal is still revenge. I got along with everyone as a means to an end..." Colphne would constantly remind herself of that whenever she was alone at night. Yet the opposing voice in her neural cloud grew ever louder, always asking her—

"Once I've achieved my goals... maybe I should consider just staying here...?"

Record 4

Colphne had a habit of observing people stealthily, especially when meeting someone for the first time. She would carefully scrutinize and try to figure out what kind of character her target was.

Vepley, the new arrival, had caught her attention lately. Vepley was a Doll who remained optimistic and cheerful no matter what was happening, which confused Colphne greatly.

"She seems like a cheerful one on the surface, but who knows what darkness hides underneath that facade?" As Colphne herself fit that description, she began to observe Vepley in secret, hoping to uncover some kind of dark side to her.

Thunk! Thunk! Thunk!

One day, Colphne realized that Vepley had returned to her room alone after being singled out for a talk with Leader. Loud "thunk" sounds emanated from her room, as if she were unleashing her built-up frustration.

Colphne recalled a manga she once read: a seemingly kind and gentle housewife held a dark secret. Whenever she was stressed out, she would hide away and start punching and kicking stuffed dolls.

With that notion in mind, a vivid picture was painted: Vepley, in her room, pressing the dinosaur plushie she always carried on her back into a corner, relentlessly beating it with no mercy remaining in her heart.

Although the imagined scenario was already pretty wild, the sounds in the room showed no signs of calming down. Colphne grew curious, and in an attempt to hear those sounds better, she pressed her body against the door after confirming that nobody was nearby...

"Uwah!" Turns out, the door was unlocked. Colphne stumbled into the room.

"Eh? Colphne? Why were you at the entrance to Vepley's room? Ah, Vepley knows! Did you come to have a peek after hearing sounds of Vepley dancing?☆"

Mr. Pizza was sitting quietly on the sofa. Vepley was standing in the middle of her room, at the end of a dance move.

It quickly dawned on Colphne: the thunking sounds came from Vepley's dancing.

She was just scolded by their team leader a few minutes ago, yet she threw all of her frustrations behind her the moment she returned to her room.

"Ahahaha... I was just worried that you would feel down after Leader lectured you, so, um... I'm glad that you're doing fine."

Colphne defended herself with a smile. Vepley sincerely thanked her for checking up on her, and invited her to dance together. Colphne declined in a hurry, and beat a quick retreat from the room as if she were running away.

She felt shame. Colphne had been scrutinizing Vepley with negativity pervading her mind, but not only did Vepley never realize Colphne's intentions, she seemed utterly unbothered. She was different from Colphne. Vepley was a Doll whose interior matched the exterior.

"What a joke... I guess I'm just naturally dreadful and all messed up." Colphne couldn't help but scoff at herself in self-deprecation and decided to bury this incident deep inside her neural cloud.

Record 5

When I found out about Leader's skills in making desserts, a thought sprang into my neural cloud: I want her to teach me.

As expected, as long as we make our request during downtime, Leader would agree to it right away.

We began making desserts in the kitchen. Everything was going smoothly.

"What's wrong, Colphne? You seem to be zoning out a little."

"Not at all~ Maybe I'm just a bit too mesmerized by Leader's dessert-making skills!"

It was just that... I didn't expect to be making... chocolate.

"Focus. We're going to pour the chocolate and let it set. Let's turn off the flame."

I tried to present myself as I always did, but whenever I caught a glimpse of Leader's side profile, I couldn't help but think about Anfiya. Chocolate played an important part in my memories with her, after all.

Those memories keep coming back, again and again. I stood next to Anfiya atop the ruins of a building in the Yellow Zone, and watched her as she gazed into the distance wordlessly.

"Colphne, what shape do you want the chocolate to be?"

"How about a crescent? The type that we saw with the others while we were on a mission together."

As I marveled at Leader's proficiency in the kitchen, I couldn't help but apologize to Anfiya in my mind.

I did not forget my promise to avenge her, yet I'd been thinking about that tragic memory less lately.

Nevertheless, the Anfiya in my memory smiled in response to my apology, and just like back then, she pushed a piece of chocolate into my mouth...

"All done, Colphne. Would you like to try it?"

Coincidentally, the chocolate in reality had been finished at this very moment.

"Uwah~ It looks so nice~ But I don't have a gustatory module, so could you try it in my stead?"

"Eh? You're lacking one, too?"

"Leader, did you say 'too'? Could it be that..."

What an awkward moment. Turns out, we both lacked gustatory modules at this point in time.

It can't be helped, then. We'll just give this to the Commander later. I wonder if he'll like the taste of our chocolates.

For some reason, I felt certain that the Commander would beam a beautiful smile at us, just as Anfiya did.

Record 6

I discovered a strange cabinet when I visited Colphne's room one day.

The cabinet doors could not be closed completely. I tried closing it a few times, but it felt like something was blocking it from the inside.

"C-Commander! You can't open that cabinet!" Colphne yelled at me when I tried to open the cabinet to check on it. But it was already too late. The moment the cabinet managed to open, an assortment of items poured out like a landslide, covering the floor in an instant.

"Aw, and I had spent so much time and effort putting them all away."

Most of the items were pill boxes, but there were many other items of unknown purpose. Some just looked like trash to me.

I was a little shocked. Colphne's room was relatively neat and tidy, so it was unthinkable that a scene straight out of "The Cave" would spew from one of her cabinets.

"Every girl hides an unknown side under her pretty exterior, you know? And I'm no exception~!"

"I think you should still explain what all of this is, though."

"Let's see... Hmm~ These rocks were meant as a gift to Helena, while these herbs were supposed to serve as medicinal materials, but I didn't know how to process them, so I just left them here. The sand... Oh, I remember now! It was supposed to be a kind of powdered medicine, but the packaging was lost..."

"I heard lots of 'meant' and 'supposed to', but now that they're useless, why not throw them away?"

"Maybe they'll come in handy someday~!"

Colphne had a bit of a tendency to hoard items, and had trouble discarding things that were no longer of use. I tried to make her throw away some of the most absurd items that she kept, but she fervently defended their usefulness, hoping to protect her cherished treasures.

"This paper cup is a memento to me. Leader poured me a drink with it when I first met all of you."

"And this one... This is the packaging box used to store the very first component that you installed in me... See? The box is still in pretty good shape, so it can be used to store some stuff..."

Since she couldn't bear to part with so many of those items, she ended up keeping so much of them.

Record 7

Colphne had been asking me about my weekend plans quite often as of late.

"It's okay, Commander. I know that you have some matters to attend to. Just let me know when you're free."

Whether intentional or unintentional, she would always try to ask me things like that, be it during mission briefings or during a routine check-up.

It's rather difficult to grasp what Colphne really has on her mind. I tried reading between the lines and realized one of the possibilities—this might be related to Florence.

Florence is a medical Doll, just like Colphne. She had taken over some of Colphne's duties ever since she arrived, and I just so happened to assist her in an experiment last weekend.

Colphne kept mentioning weekends, so that might be what was bothering her.

"That's unrelated, you know~?" I asked her directly during the check-up today, and she seemed quite surprised.

"Helena said that she wanted to go out to play with you, which was why I asked about your weekend plans."

"Then why didn't you just say so?"

"I didn't want to put you in a difficult position, so I decided not to tell you that it was Helena's request." Colphne flashed me a smile in resignation, as if she had laid everything bare at that moment.

Yet her eyes flashed a dramatic loss of their usual gleam the very next moment.

"Speaking of which, you've been spending lots of time with Florence lately... Do her skills in medicine truly outshine mine?"

"Or did you grow tired of my medical care? Florence seems to do it in an exciting way, after all..."

"I have the Commander's attention and a new companion... So why do I feel this way when they're supposed to be two happy things combined?"

Colphne sneakily observed my reactions as she spoke. She was obviously messing with me, but when she realized that I didn't fall for it, she quickly regained her smile.

"You don't have to worry~ As a medical Doll, I have some limits to what I'm able to do in terms of medicine. Florence's expertise lies in pharmaceutical knowledge, which compensates for my shortcomings, which helps you in the end. But..."

"Do you know the parable of 'The North Wind and the Sun', Commander? The North wind tries to make the traveler remove his coat, yet the traveler just grips it even tighter to keep his warmth. But when the sun embraces him with warmth, the traveler takes off his coat without resisting at all..."

"Maybe I'm trying to use the Sun's method in making you like me more! Which do you think it is, Commander~?"

Colphne teased me for quite a while, telling me that she did it because she was delighted by my concern for her.

After that, Colphne made the decision to be more straightforward in her words to prevent similar misunderstandings in the future.

"Guess I'll try to be a bit less coy when it comes to you, Commander~"

Record 8

"Commander~ Your exclusive medical Doll is here to take care of you!"

My eyes were immediately drawn to Colphne's outfit when she entered the room. That was the outfit she wore back in her old medical team.

"Oh wow~ Did your sickness take away your brains, Commander? You're staring holes in me. This outfit was a gift from you, don't you remember?"

My body was utterly shot after several consecutive all-nighters. Yesterday, under Colphne's insistence, I chose to rest in bed. I didn't remember how I had fallen asleep, but I knew that she stayed by my side and took care of me till the moment of my awakening.

Colphne drew back the curtains as dawn broke, allowing the soft sunlight to spill into the room. I could see her outfit clearly now.

"Hmm-mmm! You're looking much better, Commander. I knew this was caused by a lack of sleep! How are you feeling?"

The soft hem of her top resembled a white flower. It reminded me of the one in a purification zone that I saw with Colphne one day. Her hair, on the other hand, was braided, making her seem even more gentle than usual.

"Pretty good."

"Commander... are you referring to your health or my outfit?" Colphne looked really happy when she met my gaze, but was somewhat nervous at the same time, constantly adjusting her braids.

"Both. But... doesn't it remind you of those painful memories?"

To speak of the origins of the outfit, it is, indeed, the one that witnessed the tragic incident.

"I'm fine~ This outfit has been accumulating all sorts of happy memories, and it's all thanks to you, Commander!"

"We've been through so much together, and we've agreed on our paths moving forward. Now, the pain from the past can no longer hurt me~"

Colphne sat on the edge of the bed and took my hand. I was startled but then realized that she was just trying to check my blood pressure.

"So, from now on... let me help you bear the pain from your past as well."

Colphne gently brushed past my arm as she started the check-up. The room was now fully bathed in sunlight, illuminating her red-and-white nurse uniform with striking vividness.

She flashed me yet another smile. Bathed in the light of dawn, her smile no longer carried any trace of darkness.

Memories

Sweetness Recreated 1

Colphne, Mayling and Helena cook a snack called the "Irresisty-Healthy-Tasty" from leftover biscuits, fruits and chocolates, as well as supplements to serve as a field ration. When the Commander finds the snack overly sweet, they realize Colphne doesn't have a gustatory module, but she passes on having one installed, saying she doesn't want to miss the expression of her test-tasters.

The Commander later keeps Colphne company as she cleans the kitchen, and she expresses her gratitude for being accepted aboard the Elmo, since she would probably have become a drifter aimlessly killing Varjagers otherwise. The Commander asks what Colphne intends to do regarding her vengeance against Varjagers, since she swore to keep going after killing Crifium (in Chapter 8). Colphne still thinks that, even if Crifium and others had leaked the 3rd Medical Team's location to the Varjagers, the attack was too well-directed and the mastermind is still at large. However, she took to heart the Commander's advice to not make her vengeance the only goal in her life, and she intends to keep acting as the Commander's personal medical Doll, ensuring they eat properly and sleep well using "The Incredible Colphne's Special Healthy Life Assistant MAX Pro" lifestyle assistant app.

Sweetness Recreated 2

Colphne and the Commander take a walk in a purification zone and find a patch of fresh flowers. Colphne puts one in the Commander's hair to make them more approachable, since they usually wear a serious scowl that scares even Helena sometimes. The Commander keeps the flower to give it to Helena later. Since Colphne managed to make the Commander smile, they remark that Colphne's smile has also become genuine instead of the fake smile she used to wear (read Dusty Journal#Twisted Smile). Colphne had not realized that when Poludnitsa had dubbed it "The Mona Lisa Smile", she might have referred to its mysterious nature rather than beauty, but she doesn't dislike this interpretation either.

Though Colphne realized it well in advance, the Commander had planned their walk to lead them to the ruins where the 11th Medical and Chemical Regiment had once set camp. The place was identified by Saga, who gathered information about the 11th from a group of Varjagers captured by bounty hunters. Saga also learned that the Varjagers group involved in the massacre of the 3rd Medical Team ran into a Boojum six months prior and were wiped out, which leaves Colphne disappointed. They find a hidden memory chip containing an audio recording left behind by the 11th. The Commander hesitates to play it, but Colphne promises she's now made the Elmo her home and won't try to leave again. The message hints that the Central Army Military Police quickly closed the investigation into the massacre of the 11th, as if trying to get rid of witnesses.

Sweetness Recreated 3

The Commander and Colphne spend a few days investigating the locations uncovered by Saga, but find nothing more. The Commander suspects that the massacre of the Varjagers group that killed the 3rd Medical Team by a Boojum was not a coincidence, since bandits usually know how to avoid such threats, but premeditated by Paradeus, working alongside the same people in the URNC who canceled the investigation. Colphne asks to be hugged to help her calm down. To conclude the investigation, they take the UAV to the site of the 3rd Medical Team's massacre, which has been buried under the sand. Colphne remembers that Anfiya used to share chocolate with her since it made her smile, and Colphne lied to her about the taste since she never had a gustatory module. The Commander suggests she installs one to properly taste chocolate, but Colphne is afraid that she will associate the taste with Anfiya's death and spoil her memories. The Commander promises to be with her when she does it to make sure she has a good experience.

While overlooking the area, they find something Colphne never found during her multiple sweeps: a bouquet of metal flowers. Visiting a nearby settlement on Saga's advice, they learn that the local kids are regularly putting the bouquet to mourn Anfiya, who once saved their family. Colphne decides to stay behind for a bit to give the children a check-up and realizes that Anfiya always wore a grave expression because she felt the weight of responsibility not only for her regiment, but also for the inhabitants of the contamination zones.

Sweetness Recreated 4

Kalina later confirms that the destruction of the 11th Medical and Chemical Regiment is part of an internal conflict within the URNC's Central Army. Colphne doesn't feel down despite the news, saying that being with the Commander is enough to make her happy. The Commander stops Colphne from getting too touchy-feely in the control room and she promises to stop by their room later. Later, the Commander helps Colphne connect to a temporary gustatory module and taste chocolate for the first time. The sweetness causes Colphne to smile without feeling forced to. Colphne asks to become more than the Commander's personal medical Doll and gets close to kissing them when Helena intrudes on the scene to complain about Colphne eating the last chocolate bar.

Candied Greeting

Private Meeting Logs

Colphne

Commander~ Colphne's new medical knowledge lessons are under preparation right now—

I'll cover more first aid and basic device operations this time.

Aren't you interested? So~

To procure the equipment needed for the lessons, could the wise and awesome Commander provide me with some funds?

Woah! Thank you, Commander. Then please look forward to the start of the lessons. Remember to attend them on time~

Solo Consultation I

Colphne
Commander! You’re finally here. Do you know how long I’ve been waiting?
Commander
Sorry. Work held me up.
Colphne

Everyone’s done with the lesson and has gone back–You’re too late, Commander!

And so, I’ve decided to give you a private make-up lesson. Such medical knowledge will surely come in handy for you!

Let’s get started` First off, CPR in emergency scenarios!

The first to do is to assess the patient’s condition; if they’ve suffered chest trauma, you can’t proceed with compressions all willy nilly.

Next, check their oral cavity and make sure nothing is blocking the airway.

Hmm… You’ll need to practice to master these techniques, and I’ve specially prepared a CPR manikin for this~
Commander
And where is the manikin?
Colphne

It got dirtied during the lesson earlier. It;s being cleaned right now, ahaha…

I-it’s okay though! We’ll take it out later for you to practice. As for now…

Would you mind using me for practice, Commander…?
(Colphne suddenly leans toward me.)
Colphne
Remember, the first step is to check for external trauma~
Commander
Do we really have to start practicing right now?
Colphne

I waited so long for you to get here for the lesson, Commander, so come on~ Though, no touching any weird places…

Eek! So cold!

Sorry, Commander. Didn’t expect your hands to be that cold and I got a little startled.

Right, next is checking the airway… Please don’t get so close, Commander…

I can’t help but feel a little nervous…
Commander
Hold on, you're a Doll. What’s the point of checking this?
Colphne

Eh? R-right… Ahaha…

Well then… Shall we move on to the next topic?
Commander
Before that, let me make certain: Will the upcoming techniques also require a manikin?
Colphne
Yes they do, so you can keep using me as the practice subject if you wish to, Commander~
Commander
Ahem… Let’s wait until we get the manikin back then. Sorry for making you wait today.
Colphne

It’s okay. I’ll also be more thoroughly prepared next time.

Remember to keep coming to class, Commander~

Solo Consultation II

Colphne
Commander, you’re late again. Why are you always late to class?!
Commander
I’m really sorry. It’s been unexpectedly busy lately.
Colphne
(Sign) Guess there’s no helping it. Looks like it’ll be a private lesson with the Commander all the way through.
Commander
I’m terribly sorry. By the way… I don’t see a manikin today either. Is Prof. Colphne preparing another personal demonstration?
Colphne

Com~man~der~ Don’t tell me you’re expecting something weird, huh? Too bad~ There’s no interactive segment today.

Today’s lesson is on how to interpret medical imaging to find shrapnel buried inside the body.

Remember the multislice CT I used this morning to perform a check up on you?

I acquired that machine specifically so I could teach this lesson effectively–using the funds you provided.
Commander
Why are you emphasizing that?
Colphne

To show I didn’t waste any money. Now then, let’s look at some slices. I saved them to your tablet.

Can you spot it? This bright spot on the slice–that’s a piece of metal still lodged inside the patient.

See… That’s a hollow-point. There are some fragments near the bullet, so be careful when removing it.
Commander
Aren’t these supposed to be banned? Where did this CT slice come from?
Colphne
I just found it randomly… And from the looks of it, being officially banned won’t stop people from using it. Humans always spare no effort when it comes to killing each other more effectively.
Commander
...Colphne, don’t think about it too much.
Colphne

Yeah. Sorry for getting sidetracked. Let’s move onto the next slice…

This one is… Oops, I accidentally mixed in yours, Commander~

With how well-defined your muscles are, the system has rated your physique as muscular~
Commander
You don’t need a machine just to check one’s physique, do you?
Colphne

I’m just saying–you CAN also strip for the examination, but that’d be more troublesome.

Anyway, through these steps, you can now use the machine to check on various wounds all by yourself.

Any other questions, Commander?
Commander
No, I think I got the basics down, but…
Colphne
But what? Medical Doll Colphne will answer all your questions~
Commander
I feel like, with you around, there’s simply not much left for me to do.
Colphne

But you keep dragging yourself into danger, Commander, so, just in case~ Unless–you expect me to ALWAYS stay at your side?

Of course I’m fine with that~ What about you, Commander?
Commander
...I feel like you’re deliberately steering the conversation that way.
Colphne
Hehe~ Nope, I’m not that conniving.

Solo Consultation III

Colphne
Commander~ Say ahhh~
Commander
What’s that? Looks like a capsule.
Colphne

It’s our special guest for the lesson today–Mr. Endoscopic robot.

It can free move inside your body once you swallow it according to the preset instructions to detect various health issues.

After wrapping up its task, it will automatically degrade, making the whole process painless and harmless.

What do you think? Isn’t it a lot like the ever diligent and trouble-free Medical Doll Colphne?
Commander
Mmm, luckily Colphne doesn’t automatically degrade on her own.
Colphne

Of course I won’t. I still have the crucial task of looking after the Commander’s health~

Speaking of which, weren’t you complaining about stomach aches earlier, Commander? Want to use this chance to get checked?
Commander
Sure, but I can swallow it myself; you don’t need to feed me.
Colphne
Oh my, so shy, Commander~ Fine, here’s the capsule.
(I swallow the capsule.)
Colphne

We can see the results now.

Hmm, your digestive system isn’t very healthy, probably caused by all the late night shifts and irregular eating habits.
Commander
It’s been getting better thanks to your help.
Colphne

Thanks for your acknowledgement, Commander~ I’ll work even harder to take care of your routine.

Right, why not we draw up your future health management plan now?
Commander
I think you should teach me how to use the capsule robot first.
Colphne

Ah… Sorry, sorry. I completely forgot about the lesson when Commander’s health got brought up.

Okay, let’s take a five-minute break!
Commander
That’s out of nowhere.
Colphne

Well, getting the Commander’s acknowledgement made me super happy!

And so, I made a very~ important decision just now. Want to know what it is, Commander?

Hmm… What should I do? On second thought, maybe I’ll keep it a secret for now~
Commander
I’m really curious. Please do tell me.
Colphne

Hehe… Alright, the decision’s made: No matter what happens in the future, I will always keep you company and take care of your health~

How’s that? Aren’t you moved? Commander?

Solo Consultation IV

Commander
Colphne, I’m here to attend the lesson again.
Colphne
Ah–Here you are, Commander.
Commander
You look… a little sleepy?
Colphne

Hehe, I dozed off while waiting for you.

So~ before the lesson starts, may I make a small request?

If you can give me some headpats, that’ll really lift my spirits!
(I stroke Colphne’s hair.)
Colphne

Hehe. Thank you, Commander~

Your hand feels so comfy… It just made me kind of sleepy again…

Shall I take a nap right here…?
Commander
You should go back to your room if you’re that tired.
Colphne

No, it’s okay. Thanks to you, I’m fully awake now.

Now… You’re here for the lesson, huh?

Well, the fact is, I already taught you everything last time.
Commander
Then why didn’t you tell me?
Colphne

Because I want our roles reversed and have you give the lecture today, Commander~

And the topic shall be–”The Commander’s Decorated Career”!

I’ve just noticed that other Dolls know so many things about your past, but I hardly even know you.

So… Can you take this chance to tell me about your past, Commander?
Commander
...You waited here all this time for this?
Colphne

Yep~ You see, ever since I learned the Commander is SUCH a good person, I’ve stopped hiding my true self in front of you~

With the edgy Colphne gone, I’m now the sweet and innocent Colphne that won’t hide anything from the Commander~

In return, I wish the Commander could also stop keeping secrets from me–you will tell me all about your past, right?
Commander
I wasn’t intending to hide anything. It’s just that… recounting everything would take a while.
Colphne
That’s totally fine~ I’ve decided to listen to your tale while charging, so it’s okay even if it takes a lifetime!
Commander
It won’t take that long… Alright, let me think where to even start…
