Aphelion is a time limited event in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium and the game's second major story event. It introduced Klukai and Mechty as playable characters.
This was Exilium's ninth event in CN, but the sixth for other servers.

Story
Trivia
- In orbital mechanics, aphelion represents the farthest point of a planet relative to the Sun along its orbit. It is the inverse of the perihelion.
- Aphelion, which introduced Klukai in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium, released in CN 13 days after the release of Episode 15.4 - Angular Gyrus in Girls' Frontline, which marked HK416's last appearance in the first game. During the 2025 concert, the themes of both events were played as part of the same suite to further acknowledge their connection.[1]
- On the background of the login shortcuts for the event rewards, a strangely-written letter could be seen. The full file reveals that it is from “Queen Aurelia the Radiant” giving a gift of a rare “10x Summon Scroll”, a riff on fantasy gacha games.
