Morridow Voigt was the secretary of PECMAR Chairwoman Gilda Ulrich. The real Morridow Voigt was killed and replaced by a Paradeus Nyto body double.[1] She tried to kidnap Angelia during her investigations in Bremen in September 2064 but was discovered and returned to Berlin to participate in the trap to capture Dandelion.

After the Paldiski Incident, Angelia was mistakenly sent to Bremen instead of Berlin when Paradeus agent Polar Bear planted the wrong fake intel.[2] Bremen was the home base of Gilda Ulrich, who tasked her secretary, Morridow Voigt, and head of security Wolfgang Hopps to help Ange in her investigation of the city. Morridow presented herself as a Rossartrist and German nationalist.[3] She helped Angelia investigate the Flora Institute and got surprised when Angelia suddenly pointed her gun at Leone to intimidate her.[4] During the hallucinatory pollen attack in the institute, Angelia nearly shot Morridow in the head with her gun in the confusion.[5]

Morridow served as an intermediate between Angelia and the local police during the investigation of the murder of Berle Orphanage director Isabelle.[6] As Angelia's investigation moved to the dangerous refugees settlement to capture the child trafficker Powell, she still took the civilian Morridow with her as liaison between the different departments of the city,[7] using her handbag to carry extra ammo taken from incapacitated pursuers.[8] As ultranationalist rioters attacked the settlement with pollen bombs, Morridow still decided to follow Angelia as she pursued Powell instead of waiting for evacuation.[9] After Hopps revealed himself to be the mastermind behind the attack, he planned to kill Morridow as a witness, but was captured by Task Force DEFY.[10] In his usual laid-back attitude, J managed to set a coffee date with Morridow as he was being loaded into an ambulance after being shot during the riot.[11]

In the plane back, Angelia interrogated Morridow about the events of the past days. Morridow claimed that she and Hopps had joined Ulrich's cabinet too recently for his true allegiance to be known. Angelia then pointed out that Morridow was the only person to not suffer from nosebleeds during the chemical attack at the Flora Institute, the children at the Berle Orphanage acted like they knew her, she never broke a sweat even during the intense chase in the refugees settlement and she had unconsciously prepared to take out a concealed weapon during the standoff with Hopps despite claiming to be unarmed. Taking out Morridow's concealed gun, Angelia pointed Morridow's gun at her, but she disarmed her and evaded with inhuman speed, and blocked bullets with her bare arms when Angelia attacked with her personal weapon.

Morridow claimed she was an entity superior to a Nyto and that the plane they had boarded was actually inbound for a Paradeus base where Angelia could be interrogated and converted to Paradeus' cause. However, Angelia had already taken over the plane, with AK-12, who had feigned to be destroyed in the riot, taking the pilot's place, instead taking it to Magdeburg to deliver Morridow to the Neo-Soviet Army’s External Group Force. Finding her match in AK-12's Doll reflexes and 5.45mm AP bullets, Morridow ripped out the plane's exit and jumped[12] 400 feet[13] over the wild reaches of the lower Weser river. The Stasi never found her or the plane door. Morridow's true allegiance came as a surprise to Ulrich, who knew Hopps' secret affiliation but expected Morridow to also be a member of the ultras.[14] Angelia mistakenly assumed Morridow had left Germany for the Neo-Soviet Union after her cover was blown.[15]

Continued in Morridow (Enemy).

Trivia

  • The infamous Minigame Rooftop Dash involves Angelia carrying Morridow in her arms while jumping through the buildings of the Bremen refugees settlement.
