Crew Deck

| “ | The Elmo is the Commander's mobile field base. Its structure is complex and its capacity is astounding. It features an ops room, engine room, refitting room, hangar and other tactical spaces. In addition, it has a drew deck, lounge and other living spaces. — Loading screen description.

The Crew Deck (活动层, referred to as “lobby” in game files, also previously called “Elmo Ultra” (艾莫号Ultra) and “Big Lounge” (大休息室)) is a sub-menu navigated in 3D where players access features related to Affinity, auto-farm, housing, Minigames and costume gacha within the Elmo landship. It replaced the Public Area 2D sub-menu on 1 August 2025 in CN and on 26 November 2025 on the Global server.
Since the Crew Deck provides daily boosts related to the consumption of
Intelligence Puzzles, it is recommended to complete daily Crew Deck tasks before any other daily tasks.
Starting with Antiparallel, limited-time storylines called Soirées are hosted on the Crew Deck alongside other story events.
Navigation

By default, the controlled character in the Crew Deck is the Commander. The character can be changed with the P key. As of Dawnforger Part II, compatible characters are Klukai, Phaetusa, Alva, Helen, Sakura, Loreley and Cheyanne. The Commander received their first costume wearable in the Crew Deck and unlockable for free with the Dawnforger Part I.
On PC, use the mouse to control the camera and the WASD or arrow keys to move the Commander. Use the F key to interact with Dolls and objects in the environment. Press left Ctrl to switch between run and walk mode. Press left Alt to switch controls to the normal mouse cursor and interact with the HUD. First-person camera is toggled with the right mouse button and free-roaming camera is accessed with the V key.
Bring up the Crew Deck map with the M key. The map will indicate the location of the player and of all assigned Dolls, and also enables fast travel. Interactable events are indicated with a blue lozenge.
Daily Function Assistance Settings are accessed with the C key. Photo mode is also accessed from this menu.
Talking with Mayling will allow access to menus outside the Crew Deck.
Crew Deck Level and Mood Score
To unlock new features in the Crew Deck, the Crew Deck level must be enhanced. This is accomplished by accumulating
Mood Score. Mood Score is obtained by buying furniture in the Furniture Shop and completing the weekly Recreation Points Tracker.
Recreation Points
The Recreation Points Tracker is displayed with the F2 key.
400 Recreation Points can be accumulated weekly, at a maximum of 100 points per day. Maxxing Recreation Points weekly will grant 250
Merkle Leaves, 500
Mood Score, 1
Outfit Access Permission, 10
Siliks and 1
Keepsake Lucky Bag.
Interacting with Crew Deck features generates Recreation Points:
- Dreamscape, Delicious Cuisine and Tea Time reward 40 Recreation Points
- Dulcet Whisper, secret conversations, upgrading dishes and drinks, building the Crew Deck and unlocking Private Meeting logs grant 20 Recreation Points
- Playing Crimson Arcade games and gaining Affinity points grant 10 Recreation Points
- Editing the Crew Deck and daily conversations grant 5 Recreation Points
Moreover, the first daily interaction will give extra
Mood Score and
Merkle Leaves.
Doll Deployment

The Doll Deployment screen is displayed with the F3 key.
The Smart Select button will assign Dolls at random. The Doll Assignment button will open a menu to specify for each Doll which area she should be assigned to (or “Just Visiting” to make it random) and specify which costume to wear.
6 Dolls can be deployed in the Crew Deck as Affinity Dolls. These Dolls will gain 3 Affinity points per 30 minutes. These points must be collected manually. Other Dolls are deployed as Resting Dolls. 9 Resting Dolls can be deployed at first, and 13 more after unlocking all features.
Deployed Dolls can be talked to for daily dialogues. Private Meeting logs can also be unlocked by talking directly to a Doll and spending the required Bond Keepsake items instead of going through the Commander's Hotline menu.

Delicious Cuisine

Dishes cooked by the Dolls in the kitchen will grant passive effects. An extra passive effect depending on the day of the week is also added: Critical damage increase on Mondays, Attack increase on Tuesdays, Physical and phase damage increase on Wednesdays and Sundays, active attacks damage increase on Thursday, out-of-turn damage increase on Fridays, attack and defense increase on Saturdays, and Physical and phase damage increase plus target defense ignore percent on Sundays.
The first cooking attempt of the day is free, other attempts will cost
Merkle Leaves.
The intensity of the buff depends on the result of cooking. Great cooking successes will enhance the buff while "Meh" results will make it negligible. Not all Dolls are proficient at cooking (but the Commander will always eat the result, what a trooper) Since the Chiral Redundancy Part 2 update, Dolls with high cooking proficiency are highlighted in the cooking menu:
List to be completed
- Balthilde
- Centaureissi
- Colphne
- Daiyan
- Harpsy
- Ksenia
- Lenna
- Lewis
- Loreley
- Lotta
- Papasha
- Qiongjiu
- Sabrina
- Springfield
New dishes become unlockable, and already unlocked dishes can be enhanced, using
Merkle Leaves as the Crew Deck level increases.
Creative Cooking
Added with Chiral Redundancy Part 2.
Combine ingredients bought from the Crew Deck shop to make new kind of dishes granting extra stats to Dolls.
Some secret dishes will also turn the Crew Deck character into a Super Dinergate or the Mech Puppet, into Taryz (Springfield's summon), or shrink them for the delight of a very specific kind of players.
Tea Time

Once per day, a Doll will mix a drink providing buffs for the Commander at the counter. The Doll in charge changes each week, with five available dialogue options. Asking for the Doll's special drink will enable a sixth Heartfelt Whisper dialogue option.
By default, a Doll's special drink is only available for the week she's working the counter. A
Drink Recipe to unlock the current special drink can be obtained by completing the weekly ladder or as a Lucky Drop in Phase Clash. Each month, an
Almighty Recipe is available at the Furniture Shop and can be used to permanently unlock special drinks (current or past).
Like dishes in the kitchen, classic drinks can have their level increased by spending
Merkle Leaves.
By default, the counter will provide a base passive effect granting 65 oz. of Sardis Gold per 10 Intelligence Puzzles spent. Increasing the counter's level at Crew Deck level 9 will upgrade both the effects of drinks and the counter's effect.
Some beverages like Cheeta's Genius' Inspiration will apply a screen effect to represent their "side-effects".

Commander's Hotline

Private Meeting Logs stories are unlocked here for each Doll by spending Keepsakes. Keepsakes are acquired from
Keepsake Lucky Bags as mission rewards (such as reaching 320 Recreation Points weekly) and from weekly Bond Keepsake Gift Boxes from the Furniture Shop. Keepsakes of one type can be converted to another type in the Storage menu. The necessary Keepsake depends on which team the Doll belongs to. The first story costs 2 Keepsakes, the second and third stories cost 3 Keepsakes, and the last story costs 4 Keepsakes, for a total of 12 Keepsakes to complete a Doll's logs.
This screen also leads to the dorm of each Doll.

Rec Room

Blockbusters

The movie stand enables replay of Interludes and Soirées.
Interludes: When combinations of certain Dolls are owned (and sometimes story events completed), special conversations between the Dolls, called Interludes, become available in the Crew Deck. Starting with Antiparallel, Interludes can be replayed in the Blockbusters menu (F7 key or accessed in the Rec Room). Interludes can be triggered even if the characters involved are not currently deployed on the Crew Deck, and they may be using costumes not owned by the player. If one Doll is involved in multiple available Interludes, only one Interlude she's involved in will be available at a time, so that she's not present in multiple places at once.

Dreamscape
Time to spend some cozy time with your Dolls (in VR). Select the duration of the ASMR segment (15mn, 30mn, 60mn, 90mn or 120mn) then which scene to run. There's also an option to auto-exit Girls' Frontline 2 at the end of the selected time.
Crimson Arcade Machine
Purchased at Crew Deck level 6. Buy game tapes in exchange for
Merkle Leaves to play past event Minigames and challenge your Dolls in the leaderboards.
Outfit Procurement
Unlocked by purchasing the Outfit Gachapon Machine. Accessible with the F5 key.
A gacha to unlock costumes. Very controversial. For the list of costumes unlocked in the gacha, see GFL2 Costumes#Costume Gacha.
The main gacha currency is the
Outfit Access Permission. One permission is obtained weekly by accumulating 240 Recreation Points and another two monthly from the Furniture Shop. Can also be acquired for 120
Credit Tokens each.
All banners contain a Limited and a Rare costume. A rare or limited item is guaranteed every 10 pulls. The featured Rare costume or a Rare gift box is guaranteed every 30 pulls. After 50 pulls without obtaining the featured Limited costume, its drop chance will start increasing with each pull. The featured Limited costume will be guaranteed after 100 pulls. Pity counters are reset once the featured Limited costume is obtained. Pity counters are not transferred between costume banners.
The Limited costume has 1.18% chance to drop on normal pulls and the Rare costume has 1.56% chance to drop on normal pulls. Other items are split into the Rare Prize and Standard Prize categories. Rare Prizes make up 14.46% of the drop rate in total, and include accessories for the featured costumes, weapon and attachment skins, Exquisite Curios, a Key Evolution Gift Box (
Basic Info Core×3 and
Universal Chain Key×300) and a Targeting Evolution Gift Box (
Targeting Calibration Chip×3 and
Universal Chain Key×300). Standard prizes make up the remaining 82.8% of the drop rate and contain Bond Keepsakes, Curios, Affinity gift boxes and Costume Coins.
Running the gacha will reward Costume Coins, which are specific for each costume banner (for Klukai's Cerulean Breaker banner, they were called
Breaker Coins). Costume Coins are used in the costume shop to buy the featured Rare costume, accessories for the featured Limited and Rare costume, weapon and attachment skins (if these items have already been obtained from the gacha, they can't be purchased again), the Limited costume's Namecard Background, and other items. Duplicates of the featured Limited costume will be changed into 1400 Costume Coins, duplicates of the featured Rare costume 260 Costume Coins, duplicates of a Limited costume accessory 160 Costume Coins, duplicates of a Rare costume accessory 135 Costume Coins, duplicates of a weapon skin 190 Costume Coins, and duplicates of an attachment skin 110 Costume Coins. The content of a banner shop is moved to the Past Outfit Exchange Shop when the costume banner ends and its content can be purchased using Outfit Exchange Coins instead.
Outfit Procurement banners have a very long duration. The first one, Cerulean Breaker, ran for 335 days.
This implementation of the gacha is an updated version, following a heated controversy during the original CN release.

Dispatch Room

Dispatch becomes available after reaching Commander Level 16. It is a way to passively gain items, like the Forward Base in Girls' Frontline, but unlike the Forward Base, the dispatched Dolls are not locked out of combat and enhancement.
There are five missions available at the start, and five more are unlocked as the Dispatch Room is upgraded. Each Dispatch requires two Dolls and takes a certain amount of real time to complete. Five missions can be active at once. Completed dispatches grant certain enhancement items depending on the selected mission, as well as
Dispatch Records, the currency to use in the Dispatch Shop, where more other enhancement items as well as
Access Permissions can be purchased. This shop has a limited stocks but is refreshed every 5 days.
Actions in the Dispatch Room grant
Composite Materials, which are used to improve the Dispatch Room. Regular dispatches count toward a weekly progress which grants
Composite Materials and
Wishing Coins. The coins are used to draw from the mystery box in the Dispatch revenue sub-menu.
Dispatch Assessment
To be eligible to dispatch, a Doll must first go through Dispatch Assessment, which requires completing three Doll-specific missions. Each Doll belongs to one of five Personalities:
Resourcefulness,
Friendliness,
Eloquence,
Creativity and
Courage. Assigning Dolls to missions compatible with their Personality will yield extra
Dispatch Records and a
Supply Support Box.

Upgrading
Upgrading the Dispatch Room grants stats bonuses in combat and extra resources for Dispatch revenue. Dispatch Room upgrades are accessed from the bottom-left button.
A certain amount of Dispatch Data is needed to upgrade. Dispatch Data is accumulated by increasing the Affinity Level of Dolls in the Dormitory.
Composite Materials can then be spent to complete the upgrade.
Navigate to the Dispatch page — next to your Dorm Level and Point Amount, there’s a list-shaped button. Clicking it opens a panel showing all available dorm-level milestones and their effects.

- Level 1 starts at 25%
- Levels 2–7 give 35%
- Levels 8–11 increase it to 50%
